In October 2019 we met at Children's Park, Be'er Sheva for a "tashlich" event complete with pizza feeding the local ducks and pond fish the crust that the kids didn't eat.

Assisting Living Visit August 2019In August 2019 we went to the Australia Soldier park to prepare greeting cards for the residents of the nearby Mishan Assisted Living home, and then visited the residents to talk with them and deliver the cards.

Paint Party 2019In July 2019 we had a paint party and learned how to paint a train of camels under the stars!

In January 2019, we held a Tu Bshvat party where families ate pizza, did an arts and crafts activity, enjoyed face painting, ate festive fruit, and enjoyed a musical singalong.

In March 2019, Kochav Darom organized a potluck Purim Seuda at the Lauder Center in the Old City of Beer Sheva.

In December 2018, Kochav Darom ran a successful Chanukah party for Anglo and Israeli families in the community. Everyone enjoyed a chanukiya lighting, playing with sevivonim, eating pizza and sufganiyot, playing games, doing arts and crafts, and face painting!

Every Rosh Chodesh, we have a special community event for women. Past events have included a games night, challa baking, cheesecake baking, workshop led by MSW Danielle Litt-Halpern, divrei torah, arts and crafts, sushi making, and more!
